Episode #10: Paying for Clothes
Did you know teens spend, on average, more than $350 a month on clothes? That's over $4,000 a year! I'm sure there are times when you feel like an ATM-—an automated teller mom-—handing out money, left and right. The good news is you don't have to be an ATM any longer. As part of The Real-Life Money Game®, I have created a Clothes Expense worksheet that you can fill out with your teen. Download it on the blog or at reallifemoneygame.com. Parents in my workshops report that they've found the worksheet extremely helpful in getting their son or daughter organized. The worksheet also helps teens distinguish between what they want and what they really need.
Thanks for watching this video blog. I hope you will share it with others. I'd love to hear from you. Send me an email with a comment or question.
